I dont know why people like such large frames which was popular in the 1980's. You have such a beautiful face, and the glasses take up so much room. I wonder how long it will take for the smaller frames to be more popular again. 😊

Garlic milk tea is just a thinner version of garlic alfredo. And the coca cola has citrus, vanilla, and cinnamon. So it's basically a medieval pork roast marinade for the nobility, courtesy of the Silk Road trading routes. Savory spiced pork rolls. And pork and garlic are so tasty. God I love them together.

I just watched this after returning from a trip to the Netherlands and Germany (!!!) and wanted to know how difficult it would be to visit Japan without knowing the language. I didn’t know any Dutch and very minimal German and it wasn’t too bad because most people knew enough English, although I felt bad that they had to speak English just because I couldn’t speak their languages. Since Japanese characters are also very different than English, Dutch, German, French, etc., how difficult is it for English-only speakers to visit Japan? How much Japanese should someone learn beforehand, and is verbal fine or is it important to be able to read the characters too? Congrats on 20 years in Japan!!

Hey Sharla! I’m sorry if I maybe missed this in your video, but I wanted to ask how you feel the economy has been in Japan since moving there 20 years ago? How has it changed either positively or negatively? How has the cost of living and stuff like that may have changed? Or even in just a vacation sense, how much does it cost to try and vacation in Japan nowadays?. Thanks!!

Hmmm you cannot get a working holiday visa if you're over 30? I'm 32 and trying to work out whether or not I would be able to work in Japan in any other capacity than teaching English. I'm a nurse in the UK but from my research it doesn't look like my degree is recognised to practice. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks for a great video x

So that’s always a possibility. Also, Sharla, I could use some advice. 🙏 I’m moving back at the end of August and i am looking for an apartment that will accept 2 cats 🐈 🐈‍⬛. Do you know of any realtors you can recommend that could help me? I’ll be working in the Hachioji area.

As long as the tiles aren't polished marble use hydrogen peroxide! =D It works a treat, sray it on and leave it for a few minutes, give it a scrub with a strong brush and gauge how long it needs by how well it lifts off the stain and dirt and proceed accordingly =) The place looks amazing!
